We are community of role players aiming to get more out of No Man's Sky by living out our character's lives, contributing resources, and interacting with each other in a living, breathing community.The basic premise is every person has a role that allows them to obtain in-game resources, and only that person in that role can obtain said resource. This promotes interaction with other players as the need for resources needs to be traded amongst each other to perform the most basic actions. For example: The Core Miner is the only role that can obtain Copper, Cadmium, Emeril, and Indium. Players in other roles will need to trade with Core Miners to obtain those commodities.Ark Haven, also, offers a variety of other amenities to bring the world to life for your character. This includes a housing system, vehicle registration, professions, piracy, a bounty system, and more! Our goal is to make the community as realistic as possible and give players incentives to work towards.

The first question you may have is - How do I get to Ark Haven? This question has a series of answers!Let's start with the out-of-character answer: The easiest way to get to Ark Haven is to ask a citizen to share their friend code and join their game at the community. Then, go somewhere appropriate and drop a base computer. Log off, then log on single player and warp directly to your base computer, welcome to our home world! All we ask is that you do not clutter the surrounding area of the community with empty base computers.
Now, the in-character answer: This is two fold.
1. You can "answer the call" on your starship about our community and join it that way. IC'ly, we have been pumping a signal out of a Signal Amplifier.2. You can be "born" at the community and start living your life there from scratch! Several of us have already taken this option.⚠Cautions⚠
1. If you decide to "answer the call", please be aware that if your character is incredibly strong, rich, all powerful, or just so awesome that you don't need other players for trade, you will not fit into our community. We all need to rely on each other to make this work. Come with an open mind and a need to "start over" from your previous life.2. If you are "born" here, you are literally starting from scratch. You may have your starter ship, but that doesn't mean you have to use it. You can "save up to buy" or "build your own" (keeping in mind that you will need to use it OOC for basic game functions). You will also be limited on the resources you are allowed to gather. There are caveats to this, but generally - you will be starting with banned items from the very beginning and will most certainly need to rely on others to get the resources you need to do basic functions - like make Starship Fuel.Whichever option you choose, make it your own! The intent of this community is to let the roleplay supersede in-game mechanics and limitations. Have fun and enjoy No Man's Sky in a completely different way.
